When I am craving something delicious on the grill, these lamb chipotle burgers definitely fit the menu. The burgers are accented with KanKun chipotle and a touch of sweet apricot, then complemented with a fragrant cumin and paprika.  and fresh goat cheese guacamole.

Ingredients

  • Serves 2
  • 250g minced lamb
  • 4-5 dried apricots, very finely chopped 3 tbsps chipotle 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 burger buns
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Mayonnaise

Preparation

  1. Put the mince, apricots, spices and KanKun chipotle sauce into a bowl and mix with a fork or your hands until all ingredients are incorporated, then shape into two burger patties.
  2. Fry for around 5 minutes either side or until cook through.
  3. Serve in a burger bun with lettuce and mayonnaise.

Top tip: spice up your mayonnaise with more KanKun chipotle sauce or KanKun Mexican marinade sauce!
