What an extraordinary woman is, Margarita Carrillo Arronte, I had the privilege to meet her last night at the official launch of her book at the Mexican Colombian Ambassador’s residence  -Ambassador Diego Gomez-Pickering-.

Her speech was amazing, it transported me back in time to those afternoons full of laughs and good food prepared by my granny, mother and aunties.  The way she spoke about the current  Mexican phenomenon worldwide,   reinforced our believe in the NEW MEXICAN REVOLUTION….a revolution in which Mexico is extending its arms of food, culture and tradition to the world.

Thank you Margarita for putting your passion and knowledge on this  this fabulous book,  and thank you Phaidon for  making possible this project.  This is a must buy for Mexican food lovers #KANKUNtastic!
