Are you planning to invite friends to a party? You can wow them with this fresh and vibrant long verdita spicy cocktail recipe prepared by my dearest friend Nicci Stringfellow.  I can reassure you it is not as difficult as you’d expect and it is just delicious!

Using the Kankun™ Jalapeño sauce as the inspiration here I wanted to make a spicy cocktail that was authentic, fresh and bright. The sweetness of the pineapple works really well with the bright flavours of mint and coriander, while the vegetal notes of the el Jimador blanco tequila matches beautifully with the bite of the Kankun™ Jalapeño sauce.

Ingredients

  • 50ml tequila El Jimador blanco
  • 15ml lime juice
  • 50ml pineapple juice
  • 5 mint leaves
  • 5 coriander leaves
  • 10ml agave syrup
  • 1 tsp Kankun™ jalapeño hot sauce

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients to shaker, shake with cubed ice and strain into a rocks-filled highball glass.
  • Garnish with lime wedge
  • Enjoy this delicious spicy cocktail.
