When I am craving something delicious on the grill, these lamb chipotle burgers definitely fit the menu. The burgers are accented with KanKun chipotle and a touch of sweet apricot, then complemented with a fragrant cumin and paprika. and fresh goat cheese guacamole.
Ingredients
- Serves 2
- 250g minced lamb
- 4-5 dried apricots, very finely chopped 3 tbsps chipotle 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 2 burger buns
- Iceberg lettuce
- Mayonnaise
Preparation
- Put the mince, apricots, spices and KanKun chipotle sauce into a bowl and mix with a fork or your hands until all ingredients are incorporated, then shape into two burger patties.
- Fry for around 5 minutes either side or until cook through.
- Serve in a burger bun with lettuce and mayonnaise.
Top tip: spice up your mayonnaise with more KanKun chipotle sauce or KanKun Mexican marinade sauce!
