The “Dia de los muertos” known as the Day of the Dead, is becoming so popular!! This Mexican holiday falls on November 1st, a day to celebrate the memory of family and friends that are no longer with us in a distinctly Mexican way.
For me, a celebration always starts with good food . Let guests snack on Mexican street tacos, warm the smallest corn tortillas or make your own, and prepare a buffet of spicy sweet al pastor, mince beef, sautéed mushrooms for vegetarian guests and do not forget the spicy guacamole. Make sure you keep the colourful KanKun bottles open on your table for those that want to top up on spice, and have available chop onions, sour cream and shredded cheese. Guests can make their own perfect taco!
The Day of the Dead is a wonderful celebration of loved ones past, and all the Mexican colours, flavours, and heartwarming traditions make for a memorable celebration!! Add that hint of spookiness, fetching online your favourite dead of the day cookies recipe, get someone doing the trendy day of the day party make up; and you’ve got all the ingredients for a party to remember.
